Homecoming Spirit Week Fashion

Surfers vs. Bikers!

This was the first spirit day of homecoming week! Tinley Park students and Staff dressed up as either Surfers or Bikers. Surfers would wear Hawaiian shirts and bright colors while bikers wore leather and dark colors.

Country vs. Country Club!

The second day of homecoming week was a rodeo! We had students and staff dress up either wearing polos and khakis or wearing flannels or cowboy boots.

Bring Anything But a Bookbag Day!

You were probably wondering why everyone didn’t have their bookbag. Well, it was anything but a bookbag day! People were bringing suitcases, coolers, wheelbarrows, and more!

Throwback Thursday!

What’s Your Favorite Decade? 70,80’s,90’s, or 2000’s?  Well, today was that day to show who you loved more. People dressed in hippies style, throwback 2000s hip-hop style, or even someone dressed as a person from the 1600s!

On the last day of Homecoming Week, the school staff and students dressed in their colors! Today was also the day before homecoming which meant it was the pep rally against teachers and students and other students against students. The colors helped to show off the students’ grade level. This was especially helpful because it was easy to identify the winners’ grade level since they wore their grade-level colors.

Kylah Moore-Cash, Staff Writer
Hi my name is Kylah Moore-Cash. I am freshman here at TPHS. I would describe myself as a kind and honest person. I love helping other people out. I’m very artistic and creative. My favorite thing to do is listen to music; I could listen to music all day. I like writing very much because I like to control how and what I’m saying. My favorite book series is the Bluford High Series.  You all should definitely read!
