February is designated as “the month of love,” and what better way is there to celebrate it than the Turnabout dance and spirit week! Two weeks ago, the students and staff started the week with crazy hair designs, followed by matching outfits the day after. Famous references to celebrities and holidays followed for the rest of the week, with students dressing up as many recognizable characters and holidays. To end the week, the dance was the last thing in store for the students. Some might call it the “best night ever” because of how many people attended, which seemed to be half the entire student body! The decorations were all set for the Valentine’s Day weekend, and the DJ had many music selections to play during the dance, thanks to the feedback from the Google form that was sent out to students. Talk about a night to remember; many students will never forget that week full of excitement.
