Spring is upon us and that means baseball season is here. This year’s Titan Baseball team is returning much of its talent from last season. Some notable players returning to the team this year include:

Joey Harris (catcher)

Sean McCullough (SS/2B)

Evan King (RHP/INF)

Zach Hesse (INF/OF/RHP)

Michael Vesely (infield)

Macario Evans (outfield)

Jake Kinsella (RHP/OF)

Brayden Carroll (pitcher)

Matt Wnukowski (pitcher)

Incoming sophomores Mariano Di Gangi, Austin Kirnbauer, Ryan Exline, Morgan Kosmos, and Freshman Nolan Maciejewski will play big roles on the Varsity team this year; they will add depth to an already solid roster.

A big hole the Titans will need to fill this upcoming season is pitching. This year’s ace will have big shoes to fill now that star left handed pitcher, Christian Hack, is playing D1 baseball at Valparaiso. The strength of this year’s pitching staff depends on consistency from Evan King, Zach Hesse, and improvement from Matt Wnukowski.

The Titans season kicked off with a 12-2 win at Romeoville Wednesday, March 16th. The question about the strength of the team’s pitching may have been answered with Evan King producing 4 shutout innings in the win over Romeoville. They played their home-opener against Kankakee on Monday, March 21st and lost 10-5. They will also travel to Alabama over Spring Break to play 4 games against schools from the state. The teams they will play are Lindsey Lane Christian, Pinson Valley, Florence, and Corner. Some other big games and games at home this year include:
